Tushar Kapoor might not have made a mark in Bollywood with his acting capabilities, but the actor is surely going great guns with his coming timing.Films like 'Kya Kool Hai Hum' and 'Golmaal Returns' have turned the tide in the actor's favor, and as Tushar now awaits the release of yet another comedy flick, 'One Two Three', we talk to the actor on his role in the movie and much more..Q.: Please tell us about your character in "One Two Three".A: I play the role of 'Bhai Son' in the film, am popular because of my father who used to be a Don of his time. My mother also wishes that I become a great murderer and don like him.I then get a job to kill someone. My character's name is Lakshminarayan. The character has a blend of romantic and funny moments to it, and I have an affair going with Meena Khujli, the daughter of the don of Khujli gang. But then, the story takes a turn when I meet Esha Deol.Q.: Your character is quite different in this film. Have you followed any different preparation for the character?A.: Yeah I have. It's only because I am playing a double faced character who tries to appear tough, but from within he is a very soft person.I went through the story again and again with Ashwini to know mostly about my character. In some parts it demands the don and somewhere the demand is for the soft person. Ashwini told me about the points where he wanted the change in my personality.I tried to understand him and adjusted to the change. But I never went through any workshop and never worked on my looks. And I didn't have to work on my looks much as I am not playing a matured don. You can call me the budding don.Q.: You played the serious don in your last film "Shootout at Lokhandwala". After that you got the character of a comic shooter. How was your experience?A: Both the films are of a different genre. The character in "Shootout at Lokhandwala" required devastation in his eyes. But my character in this film demands me to be little soft and innocent from inside, whereas I have to show that I am a tough guy.Q.: Was there any confusion at the set as because three characters in the film are named the same?A.: Not at all. Ashwini created all the characters in such a way that there was no chance of getting confused. Credit should be given to the manner in which our plots were narrated to us, especially the climax where all the characters were required.Q.: This is your fourth film with Esha. How was the experience?A.: We got together at the set after four years, but none of us felt that we stayed away from each other for that long time.On the first day of shoot, we talked about several things. We are good friends and behave very childish too. Experience of working with others was also okay as I think we all are professionals and matured people.Q.: What was the reason behind signing this film?A: Every comedy I have acted in, as for example "Golmaal", "Kya Kool Hai Hum", has either some kind of adventure or misadventure along with two or more girls getting involved with me.But in this film, all the three leads are not only from different cities but from different background also. None of them knows about the other character. They know each other only when the fact opens that they all are known as Lakshminarayan.Q.: This film has a huge star-cast. Was there any problem due to any star during the shooting?A.: As far as I can remember, no actor has ever created any problem. There was a news regarding Upen in the newspaper but I cannot tell you anything about that as I was not present there. And if you ask me about actresses, I can say that there has to be some problem when there is more than one girl at a place.Q.: Have you ever felt insecure during the shooting because of the huge star-cast?A.: Since the story was clear to us, the importance of our character sketch was also very clear. At the same time, we get a thin line from the director about how he is going to treat our characters. So, I think if one has the confidence in the director, then there is nothing to be worried about. And at the end, you have to take some risk, isn't it?Q.: You are famous as a prankster. Whom did you prank on this time?A.: Who told you that I love to prank on people? As far as "One Two Three" is concerned, I stayed conscious all the time thinking someone must be trying to prank.Q.: You are playing the character of a hair stylist in Rohit Shetty's "Golmaal Returns". Please tell us about that.A.: Yeah, that's true. I am playing a hair stylist in "Golmaal Returns". And for that reason I am trying with a different hair style. This character has a very uncanny habit of seeing a person's hair when talking to him.I have been observing the hair stylist Aalim, he exactly does the same thing. He changes his hair style every two days. I am still dumb in the film, but the story of the film is quite different from "Golmal".Q.: Who do you feel your comic chemistry works better with?A.: Truly speaking, I like to work with all the actors. But I feel that my comic chemistry works better with Sharman. Though my and Reitesh's comic pair was much appreciated, I have learnt a lot from Sharman Joshi. Even now, our comedy in "Golmal" is highly appreciated.Q.: You must be missing Sharman in "Golmal Returns"?A: See, Sharman is a good friend of mine. Besides, we used to have lot of fun in the set. So, it's quite natural to miss him. But that doesn't mean I am not enjoying my time with Shreyas. I am not missing anyone professionally, but truly speaking I am missing him personally.Q.: How changed do you feel after playing so many characters?A.: I can say that now I am not afraid of the camera. Now I am not tensed about anything, and I tend to enjoy acting. At the same time I have turned really friendly with my directors. At the beginning of my career, I used to feel the difference between senior and junior actors. But now I believe I am also a part of Bollywood.Q.: Please tell us about your forthcoming films.A.: This film, we are talking about, will be released in March. In June you will see "C Kkompany" produced by our house."Golmaal Returns" will be in theaters by August this year and I hope another film "Run Bhola Run" will be released by the end of the year. - Rajnee Gupta

Esha Deol has probably only had her famous parents’ names to rely on these last few years. Of late, the actress’s films have vanished without a trace from the box office. With a spate of disasters like Cash, Darling and One, Two, Three to her name, Esha now finds herself at the bottom of the rung. A film opposite Shiney Ahuja titled Hijack which releases today, is her one hope for a hit. So, what is it Esha will do to resurrect her declining career?
The last time around, a sizzling makeover and an ultra-fit bod created the much-needed ‘Dhoom’. Does she have special plans up her sleeve this time? Is momma Hema going to pitch in with ideas? Wait a minute. Doesn’t dad Dharmendra own a film production house? Well, then it shouldn’t be too difficult for her to keep experimenting until she gets a hit, should it? “I can’t really say anything about that. I’m only a daughter to my dad, and not an actress. So, it’s better if the father-daughter relationship continues like that,” she said dowdily.
We were slightly taken aback, but then we promptly remembered that Vijeta Films is currently being handled by step-brothers Bobby and Sunny. So, we moved onto her dear little sister Ahana, who’s an aspiring director. Would Esha like to work in a film directed by lil sis?
“Yeah, I will work with my sister,” she says without hesitation, and this time with a little more enthusiasm. “But she won’t start directing yet. She’s young and still enjoying life, maybe 2-3 years from now,” she says. We’ve reached the conclusion that star kids don’t have it as easy, as it seems in films after all. In the big, bad world of Bollywood, Esha bhi hota hai!
Esha Deol's bikini act: There were two sole factors for the surprise success of Dhoom in the year 2004: bikes and bikini of Esha Deol. It was a closely guarded secret that Esha Deol would don a bikini for Dhoom. And in the middle of the movie, from the waters comes a scorching hot Esha Deol with a washboard belly in a sizzling bikini. The camera ogled at her as the goddess emerged wet and bold. Simply superb stuff. Though the exposure was not outrageous, the surprise element of the the bikini in Dhoom created waves in the sea and ripples in the box office.

Esha Deol has not been seen around after the debacle of her last film Hijack. Industrywalas have been left wondering where she has disappeared. But our sources have found out that she is very much in Mumbai, cooling her heels at her new House in Goregaon where she is put up with her mom, actress Hema Malini and sister Aahana. A close pal of Esha has now also revealed that she is being considered as the brand ambassador of a Paris based cosmetic giant. Reveals the close pal further, “To compete with famous International cosmetic brand L’Oreal which has star brand ambassadors such as Aishwarya Bachchan and Sonam Kapoor, a rival cosmetic giant wants to rope in an Indian face that has a well toned body, is young and has got a good height.
Esha has fit their bill perfectly and the deal is under negotiations now. When things get finalized, a proper media announcement shall be made with a big event taking place in a Mumbai star hotel. Esha meanwhile is presently busy working on the interior decorations of her new House and is avoiding going to parties and film events.”
27 years old Esha now only has one film on hand, Aditya Datt’s Chai Garam opposite Govinda and Suniel Shetty. We just hope that this endorsement deal goes through for the Dhoom girl and bring her back in circulation.

Esha Deol, daughter of actors Dharmendra and Hema Malini, says that her mom wouldn't mind her being in a live-in relationship before marriage and adds that her dream man should be like her dad."I believe in a love marriage and am looking for a guy who would have some qualities of my father," said Esha, who will be seen next with Shiney Ahuja in "Hijack"."I think every girl wants her life partner to have some qualities of her father and I also want the same. My father has been the closest man in my life till now and I'm familiar with his qualities and therefore want my man to be like him," says Esha. Although her parents are looking for a suitable match for her, the 25-year-old actress is not game for an arranged marriage."My mom is a modern kind of person and would not mind if I even go for a live-in relationship with someone. I think I would like to live with him for at least two years and then think of getting married."It's always better to know a person well before marriage than getting divorced later," she quipped.According to Esha, she and her mother share many interests. "Both of us like dancing and acting; therefore we share a lot of common things among us. Besides, she has been a constant support in my life."She said Hema is now trying to revive her banner H.M. Creations, which made Shah Rukh Khan starrer "Dil Aashna Hai" in 1992."My mom is very keen to revive her banner. She thinks this is the best time to start a project as the market has really grown during the past couple of years. Also, we believe in the saying 'make hay when the sun shines'."Though they have decided to make a film, the script has not yet been finalised. "We are going through various scripts, but nothing has been finalised yet."Esha debuted with "Koi Mere Dil Se Poochhe" in 2002 and in the last six years featured in several films, but success has eluded her so far. She was a part of successful films like "Dhoom", "Yuva" and "No Entry", but all of them were multi-starrers.After doing glamorous roles in run-of-the-mill films, Esha now wants to do some meaningful cinema. "Though I am happy with my sexy image, I want to do meaningful cinema. There is nothing wrong being sexy as most of the actresses feel proud if they are termed as 'sexy and hot'; so do I."But at the same time I want to do some films that also show my acting talent," she said. She is positive about "Hijack" and says it has tapped her acting potential in the right way."The role that I am playing in 'Hijack' is what I have never tried before. For the first time I will not be romancing my hero, neither will I be seen running around trees, not even in a dream sequence," said Esha who plays an air hostess in the movie."My character is experienced and believes in herself and helps the protagonist, played by Shiney Ahuja, with all her experience in rescuing the passengers." She rubbished reports that she didn't get along with Shiney on the sets of "Hijack"."It is not true at all. Shiney and I get along well and I think the media reports of my strained relations with him were just a publicity gimmick. I'm looking forward to do another film with him."Asked about working with debutant director Kunal Shivdasani, Esha said: "Kunal is an experienced ad filmmaker and he has applied his experience in making the film. He has shot the film aesthetically and also in a realistic way." "Hijack", which also stars K.K. Raina and debutante Kaveri Jha in important roles, releases this Friday.

Esha Deol is the only star from Yuva who is also acting in the film's Tamil version, Aayutha Ezhuthu.
It began with a phone call from director Mani Ratnam's actor-filmmaker wife, Suhasini, who insisted on speaking with her in Tamil. Esha answered her in the same language.
Then, she asked Suhasini about the choice of language. And was more than surprised when she replied, "I wanted to offer you a role in Tamil and wanted to see how well you know the language."

It was a great experience because I worked with Ajay and Mani Ratnam together.
It makes a big difference when you work with an experienced star like Ajay.
And Mani Ratnam is like God for me. I have always been a fan of his. I have seen all his films. Doing this role is a dream come true.
I am happy I had the opportunity to do the Tamil [Aayutha Ezhuthu] as well as the Hindi version, Yuva.
Mani Ratnam pampers you and also brings out the best in you. You will only understand this if you work with him. That is why actors give such a natural performance in all his films.
